I think that it is a good idea that people can get fined up to $100 000 for over fishing. If you take too many fish there will be none for other families. I like to eat fish and go fishing. I want there to be fish forever.
Hello Ariana, I am Vitaraag. I want to fish to be alive forever to. I think the same for over fishing. I disagree about your reason because they stop fishing there so the fish in that place don't go half extinct. Maybe next time you could add from information about your reason.
Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey Task! We are lucky here in New Zealand that we are allowed to catch our own fish as long as we stick to the daily catch limits and the minimum sizes. I’m glad that there are rules in place so there is fish for anyone who wants them. But it also lets the fish to breed and for younger smaller fish to grow so that the different fish species don’t disappear. Do you ever go fishing with your family?
I look forward to reading more of your Summer Learning Journey activities soon. Just to let you know there is only ten days left in the programme, which is plenty of time to complete more activities!
