Team 3 goals

Team Awa have been writing their goals so we know what we need to work on for our reading, writing and maths. Here are my goals.

Kauri Poem

This week we have been doing Environmental writing. We had to sketch a Kauri tree and then we had to write a poem about them.

Fractions

We have been learning about fractions. I have made a paper sheet  about what I know about fractions.
Each piece has to be the same size but that was hard to do when I was drawing them.

Koru weaving

Garden to Table

This week we have made some nice food and we made some rice paper rolls and ABC muffins. My favourite is kitchen and it is the best thing to do and I love it.

Basic Facts

We have been working on answering basic facts questions quickly and instantly.

I am at Stage 4.

Handwriting term 2

We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.

I am good at copying correctly.

I need to get better at sitting all letters on the line and keep them the same size.
