Silly sentences
We have been learning how to write correct sentences.
A sentence makes sense on it's own and usually has one simple idea or piece of information.
A simple sentence needs a subject and a verb. It needs a capital letter and full stop.
We wrote silly sentences then chose our favourite one to illustrate.

Holiday Recount
Here is my recount about the Holiday.
Touch a Truck Show
Bang! Crash! The grader went. We went to the touch a truck show at Hurapaki school in Whangarei. When JJ turned up Haki and I got a sherbet ice cream. Then we watched the fire demonstration. It was cool. They put the oil fire out with water. Never put water on the stove fire because it will go everywhere. You use a pot lid as that’s how you put out a fire. Then we had lunch then we went home.
